In this episode we are once again treated to
Tommy, the new Junior Host, getting into
trouble. But this time it's real bad. We also
get to follow the drama surrounding Geoff Mills,
his wedding plans, and money woes. Also, for the
first time, the owners of The Golden Nugget Tim
and Tom are not in an episode. No worries, we
hardly even notice because there is so much
going on with Geoff and Tommy.
First we find out that Geoff is having some
financial problems. It seems that he is not as
rich as we might of though he was. He dropped a
lot of cash at the casino before proposing to
Kristin. It turns out that he lost somewhere
between $250,000 to $300,000. This money was,
for the most part, his liquid assets. We as the
viewer thought he had more money to burn though.
Remember in
episode two when Kristin lost her purse in
the casino with a supposed $25,000 in it? He
blew that of like it was nothing. Now Geoff has
to come up with enough money to make Kristin's
wedding the best day of her life and she has no
idea what's going on.
While all this in unfolding, Tommy accepts an
invitation to a party (party in his honor of
being promoted) thrown by on of the waitresses
at the casino. He shows up at the party thinking
it will be a low key party with some of the
girls from the casino. The girls are there and
so is Monique, his nemesis from his dealing
days. Come to find out that this party is a
different than expected. He is the only guy
there and everyone else is in lingerie. It gets
better, they pretty much humiliate him by
flogging him S&M style. Tommy proves to be a
good sport (noting that he has to go back to
work even) and takes one for the team! When he
finally sees some of the gang back at work, he
quickly realizes that the word is out about the
crazy party and he takes some ribbing from his
co-workers. This is NOTHING it gets worse for
Tommy.
Before we see what happens to Tommy next, we
see the cost of Geoff and Kristen's wedding
getting out of hand. Only Kristen doesn't know
it. Geoff acts cool while Kristen is getting
excited about the upcoming event that week. So
far the wedding is costing somewhere around
$110,000. After Geoff cuts a deposit check for
about $35,000, the reality of it all starts to
take a toll on him. Then he turns to gambling,
thinking he can win enough money playing craps
to pay for the wedding. Is there anyone in the
world who REALLY thinks this could possibly be a
good idea? Geoff seems to be digging a rather
large hole for himself to fall into. Will he
totally screw it up? Even his brother Brian who
knows about the money problems seems to be in
denial,. He is planning this huge bachelor party
($$$).
Back to Tommy, he now has two clients to
handle at once. He still has the Mills crew
(wedding and all), and now he has another 'black
chip' player in town named Veleda. She seems
very nice and low key. This fact will come in
handy after we see what happens next. Brian
wants to go over some details of the bachelor
party with Tommy so they plan a 10pm dinner that
night to go over the ideas. Meanwhile, Tommy
decides to take Veleda to see Tony and Tina's
Wedding. This is an interactive show depicting a
typical Italian wedding. When they are seated at
the show Tommy completely blows of his duties as
host to Veleda (not to mention Brian Mills) by
hitting on a woman sitting at the same table and
getting totally wasted. Veleda is more than cool
about it and she basically has to take care of
him. Tommy continues to spiral out of control by
inviting the entire cast of Tony and Tina's
Wedding back to the Nugget to gamble and drink
on the house! When Veleda gets him outside to
find a ride back to the casino, he realizes that
not only did he lose a thousand in cash, but he
was sick to his stomach. Yes, the client he was
supposed to be showing a good time was taking
care of him instead. This woman seems like a
saint as she is seen wiping the vomit from his
face! Tommy! This guy clearly has a lot to learn
about everything. Veleda must be a plant or
something. She can't be a real high roller who
expects the red carpet. Maybe she is just a
really good person. That's what we hope.
As entertaining as they are, Tommy and Geoff
will have some talking to do soon! Check back
right here to see what happens in the next
episode. Remember, the show is now on twice a
week. What will happen when Tommy has to face
the music back at the Nugget? Will he lose his
job? Should he lose his job? What will happen to
Kristin's wedding dream when she finds out Geoff
might not have the cash to foot the bill? Will
the casino help? Will he win enough money? One
thing is for sure, we have a lot of unanswered
questions! The next episode will definitely be a
good one! Stay Tuned -
