July 26 / Episode Seven > The Casino
Reality TV Show Will the Golden
Nugget ever find the quality act they are looking for? Maybe
they already have the talent and just don't see it. Whatever
the case may be, it looks like Tim and Tom have had enough
trouble finding entertainment to bring in some of the heavy
hitters.
In this episode, we find Tim and Tom still
looking for a way to catch some 'big fish'. Tim decides to
meet with Dennis and Roy. They are promoters that think they
have a great way to bring in the high rollers. They say they
will provide Tim and Tom a list of high rollers sure to
gamble with lots of money if they throw a party for the
Bikini Bowling Babes. Roy promises that his high rollers
will bowl with the Babes, get to know them, and then judge
them in a beauty contest (we think) where the winner gets
$1,500.00. After the judging is done the Babes will escort
the high rollers to the gaming area for some high stakes
fun. This plan would have been a good one one if the high
rollers were actually high rolling!
While all this is going on, Tommy (the
fun-loving blackjack dealer) is finally given his chance and
is promoted to Junior Host. He is on top of the world and
nervous as can be. You would be too if every other dealer
you worked with wanted you to fail! We quickly notice that
basically ALL the other dealers seem to be jaded
people. Why don't they want Tommy to succeed? It seems that
his co-workers feel he is treated better because his father
works in the casino as a host. Either way it doesn't REALLY
phase Tommy, he seems to take it all in stride. He is pretty
green and still relies on Monique, his old floor supervisor
for help. Tommy's first assignment is to host the Bikini
Bowling Babes and make sure things run smooth. He does a
pretty good job considering Tim and Tom are being scammed by
Roy and Dennis.
We also see Matt Dusk surface. He sings to
an empty room. This is unfortunate since this guy has some
talent. After a dismal show he decides that to get promoted
to the showroom, he has to get into Tim and Tom's inner
circle. Will he become their puppet? Will he get the chance
he deserves? We'll see. If Tommy can do it, so can Matt!
We'll have to see what happens there.
As this episode winds down, Tim and Tom
realize that they made a huge mistake bring in the Babes.
They really only had one heavy hitter (who ended up winning
$150,000 after being in the hole $70,000) even play. So much
for the high roller list that Tim said could be "worth it's
weight in gold". It seems that that list must have been
printed on some very light paper!
Alas, Tim and Tom put together a quick meeting and decide
once and for all that they need to move towards getting
quality headlining acts.
Check back next week to
see what happens when some infamous card counters head into
the casino, and a high roller skips town owing Tim and Tom a
cool million! We'll also get to see what Tommy has in store
for him as he spends his day off at a brothel.
