April 14
Nothing is
for free it
seems.
Today in
Nevada, the
Senate Judiciary
Committee
accepted a new
bill to give
casinos to
go-ahead to
charge entry
fees to certain
events like
circuit parties
where
entertainment
and table games
and/or slots
would be
present.
The bill now
goes to the
senate floor and
its name is
simply Assembly
Bill 444. The
new bill affords
that a casino
must first gain
permission from
the
state Gaming
Control Board
chairman first,
before setting
forth any fees.
As it stands
now, casinos
don't and can't
price any gaming
area cover
charges.
