As it stands, for Nascar's first race of the year, there is a three way tie for the 'favorite' at the Daytona 500. Online wagering for this event is underway in full force.

As far as Sportsbook.com is concerned, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson are all at 9/2 odds to win the 47th annual Daytona 500 held this Sunday.

It is widely known among race car fans that Daytona is the main event of the American auto racing world. It's the biggest race of the year for NASCAR. Sportsbook.com says it's the biggest for them too.

Coming off a win this past Saturday, Jimmie Johnson will carve up the front row along with Dale Jarrett, who takes the pole for this Sunday's race.
