Casino, a
Macau gaming
and
entertainment
group is
said to be
releasing a
very
favorable
performance
report on
Monday. The
report is
for the
company's
new casino
that opened
last
Christmas
(12/23/04).
First
quarter net
gaming
revenue for
2005 will be
over 234
million
(MOP). Since
January,
monthly net
gaming
revenue at
the casino
has risen
from 40
million
(MOP) to 80
million
(MOP) in
April.
The cost for
running the
casino has
said to have
remained
about the
same each
month. At
this rate,
representatives
will be able
to forecast
that the
first phase
investments
of 600
million
(MOP)
would
be
paid off
this year.
The full
development
has two
phases.
Traffic
for the
casino has
jumped to
over 30,000
gamblers
each month.
The
second phase
of the new
casino will
have 37,000
square feet
of floor
space.
Much of the
casino's
revenue
stems from
its 4 VIP
rooms. These
rooms have
been updated
to represent
the finest
casino
gambling has
to offer and
have been
very
successful
with
bringing in
high
rollers.
If the
casino
continues to
move in this
forward
direction
the second
phase will
be paid off
just as
fast.
