GGE
Asia
sells
out
April
3,
2007
The organizing companies of Global Gaming Expo (GGE)
Asia
just
announced
that
this
year’s
first
event
has
sold
out.
Even
with
a
major
increase
in
floor
space
from
the
initial
plan,
the
event
has
sold
out.
This
is
no
doubt
due
to
the
ever
growing
gambling
industry
in
Macau.
This
is
the
first
year
the
Expo
is
taking
place
and
we
expect
to
here
great
things
coming
from
it.
The GGE Asia will showcase some of the world's foremost gaming companies
and
developers
such
as
IGT Asia, Aristocrat Technologies, Bally Technologies, Konami
Australia,
Shuffle
Master,
Elixir
Group
and
obviously
many
more.
GGE
Asia
2007
will
be
hosted
from
June
13th
through14th
at
Macau
Tower
Convention
and
Entertainment
Centre
in
Macau.
Partaking in GGE Asia 2007 by gambling suppliers, developers and manufacturers
from
all
over
the
planet
says
that
both
the
significant
business
opportunities
arising
in
the
increasing
Asian
gambling
markets
and
the
leading
caliber
of
the
GGE
events
is a
great
success.
The incredible interest in GGE Asia from gambling and gaming companies is
a
testament
to
the
value
this
market
now
holds.
As many of our online gambling news article readers have been learning
over
the
past
years
or
so,
is
that
this
is
one
market
that
is
taking
over.
It
is
being
reported
that
soon
we
swill
see
a
report
fro
earning
that
compares
Vegas
to
Macau
and
Macau
will
have
earned
more
this
year.
By this event selling out, we see the vast migration of many US company’s
to
start
companies
in
Macau as well.
You have to understand that while
Macau
is
obviously
appealing
to
the
millions
of
Asian
gambling
fans,
it
is a
relatively
small
area.
Macau
continues
to
enjoy
an
extraordinary
explosion
with
heavy
investment
in
gambling.
According
to
the
Statistics
and
Census
Bureau
of
Macau,
foreign
direct
investment
to
Macau
totaled
a
round
3.3
billion
(US)
in
the
year
2005
–
that
was
an
increase
of
nearly
forty
percent
over
the
prior
year
to
that.
As the hub of the massive growth of the gambling industry in
Asia,
Macau
provides
an
superlative
setting
for
the
inaugural
GGE
Asia,
which
will
create
a
unique
business
forum
in
which
global
gaming
equipment
suppliers
and
service
providers
will
be
able
to
showcase
their
latest
products,
technologies
and
solutions
in
front
of
key
decision-makers
from
leading
casino
operating
companies.
Bally Technologies is confident in supporting the inaugural GGE Asia. It
certainly
recognizes
the
growth
that
is
taking
place
in
the
Asian
gaming
markets
and
wants
to
guarantee
that
it
capitalizes
on
all
of
the
opportunities
available
there,
both
now
and
in
the
future.
We
are
certain
of
that.
The
company
states
that
along
with
its
own
Bally
initiatives,
an
additional
way
for
the
company
to
take
benefit
of
growth
in
Asia
is
by
participating
in
GGE
Asia.
GGE Asia visitors also will have the opportunity to participate in elite,
behind
the
scenes
property
tours
at
Wynn
Macau
and
the
Venetian
Macau.
The
casino
resort
tours
will
give
visitors
of
the
Expo
the
chance
to
see
these
two
premier
casino
resort
properties
in
depth.
GGE Asia is jointly organized by the American Gaming Association and Reed
Exhibitions
as
part
of
the
GGE
selection
of
events
such
as
the
one
that
takes
place
each
year
in
Las Vegas.
We
will
see
what
happens.
We know from Vegas GGE experience that this event in
Asia
will
be
innovative
and
full
of
useful
gambling
information
and
many
deals
will
be
struck
between
casinos
and
developers
of
gaming
devices
and
gambling
software
and
much
more.
