New casino elevator betting could soon be reality

April 10, 2007

If you ride in an elevator a lot - you know what it is like to wonder which one will arrive first to take you where you want to go. If you are an online gambling player –you like betting, so this should come as no major stretch of the gaming imagination.

In fact, there is a new gaming company that wants you to truly be able to bet on which elevator will arrive to take you where you want to go – for real money too.

Based in Cali, the new company Elevated Gaming, about a year and a half ago, thought betting on this would be exciting. Hence the name of the company too. The founders of the company were actually waiting for an elevator one day and the rest is history.

Now, the gaming company is looking to sell machines to casino properties all over the world that will let you bet on the elevator’s arrival. Can you imagine a machine on every floor of every casino hotel property that would let you place a bet on which elevator will come first? We think it is brilliant.

The fully automated machines would be a great draw fro people to stay at casino properties – a truly novel idea.

As far as the company goes, it was shaped to develop and market products that make use of the patentable rights to the new elevator betting game. The founders of the company expect the company to quickly become a vital part of the casino gaming industry.

The company's main game, Bet-A-Vator, can be played wherever such games are legal. Casino properties and anywhere else. In the game, players (gambling fans that is) would be able to  amuse themselves by placing wagers on such things as arrival, timing, and direction of the elevators. Think about it this way, a bank of 4 elevators ( a typical scene), for example, a correct wager might pay a winning gambler $3 for each dollar wager placed, so, because of the game's high house edge, the casino property would reel in a 25% gross return on play. Not bad for the casino property – and really fun for the guest. You have to at least admit it is innovative if nothing else.

Patents are pending and if granted, Elevated Gaming would get seventeen years of extensive and elite rights to its newly designed elevator game – this means all over the world too. Even though the elevator game may be played in a number of ways, with or without a human operator, it is expected that the great bulk of play will be by automated gaming machines. These will be sold and serviced only by the company around the world.

One of the founders of the new company says that it has formed with a few highly skilled game makers as well as many experienced professional in order to bring the idea to fruition. All in all, the company members have many years of experience.

Elevated Gaming is consistently expected to produce almost $475 million in sales and $256 million in net operating profits in its first 4 years of operation. Could this idea be the next big thing?

The company is fully confident that it will expects have completed its product improvement, testing, and legal consent processes before the next year is up.

I guess we will be able to truly bet on elevators soon then – until then have fun doing it for free. Our online gambling news department cannot wait to gamble on this soon. – as long as it is legal.
