Irish Open has Irish winner April 13, 2007

The winner, a well-liked Northern Irish man by the name of Marty Smyth won the event. It was the 26th Irish Open and it took place in the Burlington Hotel in Dublin. The event just ended on the 9th. Another poker player, Tom Finneran, won a seat at this year�s US WSOP Main Event taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada in July.
This year's Irish Open event, will broadcast on RTE Two and Challenge TV later in the month. This year�s event was the largest tournament ever held in Europe with more than seven hundred poker players vying for the big win.
