PartyGaming
stops
Turkish
wagers
at
online
gambling
sites
April
11,
2007
Today,
online
gambling
news
for
Turkish
players
from
PartyGaming
is
not
good.
PartyGaming
has
released
a
statement
that
it
will
no
longer
agree
to
Turkish
citizens
playing
at
the
site
for
real
money
bets.
This
goes
for
all
PartyGaming
online
gambling
sites.
These
players
can
of
course
still
take
part
in
free
wagering
and
playing
on
the
network’s
sites,
but
no
money
will
be
accepted.
This
news
come
after
the
passing
of
recent
legislation
which
prohibits
certain
forms
of
online
gambling
from
being
offered
by
an
unauthorized
domestic
or
foreign
company
to
citizens
in
Turkey,
the
network
has
now
taken
all
sensible
steps
to
make
sure
that
customers
in
Turkey
are
deprived
of
access
to
any
of
the
network’s
gambling
sites.
Back
in
February,
Turkish
law
makers
passed
a
law
barring
unlawful
operators
from
providing
online
gambling
services
fro
real
money.
The
new
law
prompted
NETeller
and
others
to
pull
out
of
the
Turkish
market
last
month.
Turkey
does
permit
citizens
to
make
bets
through
its
state
run
monopoly.
This
is
most
likely
why
the
area
does
not
allow
online
gambling
- it
wants
to
regulate
the
funds.
