Another
tribal
casino
opens
in
the
San
Diego
area

In
online
gambling
news
reports
today,
we
want
to
share
an
interesting
development
taking
place
in
Southern California.
San
Diego
County's
10th
Indian
casino
opens
today.
The
casino
is
hosting
a
private
party
perhaps
a
soft
opening
that
will
be
taking
place
this
afternoon.
Shortly
after
the
preview
party
around
9PM
–
everyone
can
enter.
Over
a
thousand
casino
visitors
will
be
getting
the
first
look
at
the
brand
new
tribal
run
casino.
In
the
casino,
players
will
get
to
play
349
slots
at
the
Santa
Ysabel
Resort
and
Casino.
For
those
interested
in
visiting
this
great
new
gambling
spot,
it
is
located
on
state
Route
79
not
quite
5
miles
north
of
Route
78.
One
thing
of
interest
here
is
that
the
casino
has
yet
to
obtain
its
liquor
license.
Hey,
this
means
sober,
smart
game
play
for
awhile
right?
For
those
of
you
online
gambling
fans
looking
for
free
drinks
at
the
casino,
you
will
have
to
wait
a
bit.
Drinking
and
gambling
never
really
mix
anyway.
In
the
casino’s
area,
San Diego
County
officials
announced
that
they
are
waiting
for
word
that
the
tribe
has
implemented
an
alcohol
training
program
for
its
workers;
will
serve
food;
has
a
designated
driver
program;
and
sponsors
a
shuttle
to
public
transit
before
it
will
dole
out
the
liquor
license.
This
is
great
idea
and
a
good
law.
The
price
tag
to
construct
the
new
casino
resort
was
$27
million.
It
is
pleasantly
situated
on
the
side
of
Volcan
Mountain
overlooking
Lake
Henshaw.
It
was
paid
for
through
a
bank
loan
guaranteed
by
Arizona's
Yavapai-Apache
Nation,
whose
leaders
will
be
on
hand
today
at
the
opening
festivities.
