Online
Gambling
Show
on
60
Minutes
April
10,
2008
It
seems
that
the
ever
popular
“60
Minutes”
is
interested
in
having
a
show
on
online
gambling
and
what
went
on
in
the
Absolute
Poker
scandal.
There
is a
rumor
floating
around
the
internet
that
the
popular
news
show
could
be
doing
another
show
on
online
gambling,
and
it
will
most
likely
be
negative.
The
show
has
done
shows
on
online
gambling
before,
but
never
portraying
it
in a
positive
light.
Some
of
the
online
bloggers
claim
that
they
have
been
interviewed
for
the
casino,
but
others
are
simply
passing
along
speculation
and
rumors.
The
show
has
profiled
online
gambling
three
times
before
– in
2001,
2005,
and
2006.
Each
time
it
was
shown
in a
negative
light.
Blogger
Nat
Arem.com
says
that
he
was
contacted
but
agreed
to
sign
a
confidentiality
statement
and
thus
was
unable
to
talk
about
it.
But
now
that
the
story
was
out
there,
they
had
info
to
share.
He
says
that
they
are
covering
last
fall’s
Absolute
Poker
scandal
and
are
looking
to
speak
with
him,
Michael
Josem,
and
Marco
Johnson.
He
told
them
his
story
and
how
he
was
involved
in
the
mess.
Then
he
heard
that
they
were
going
to
Costa
Rica,
Canada,
etc.
–
all
big
online
gambling
places.
He
says
that
he
was
asked
to
tell
the
whole
story,
but
does
not
want
to
portray
online
gambling
in a
negative
light.
He
wants
to
ensure
that
online
poker
doesn’t
get
any
more
negative
publicity.
