iPhones Find their Niche at the Online Gambling Sites Instead

As soon as it was discovered that the iPhone had a program that allowed the counting of cards, the land based casinos were quick to jump on them. They wanted it to be very clear that not only was card counting frowned upon, but that using any kind of device to help you count cards was downright illegal. The iPhone is carried into many casinos obviously because it is someone�s way of communicating with someone else � but now casinos are on the lookout for those with the phones to make sure that they don�t have the card counting program.

Some casinos have even banned the iPhone all together. Those caught using the program to play at a land based casino will be prosecuted as it is a felony and illegal in all states. However, because online gambling takes place in the privacy of your own home, many people have found that they can use the program in secrecy and no one is the wiser for it.

But those that have the program can use it to count cards on their computer instead � while they participate in online gambling. Because of the controversy, many online gambling sites are posting ads that say that the phone is not banned there, and other such advertisements, which is working and is bringing in more clients than they could have thought possible.

With more casinos now making the iPhone illegal in their establishments, this means that even more online gambling patrons will be seeking a place to play. The casinos might want to be careful for there are many other factors that have already pushed their clients to embracing the online gambling world � and banning their cell phones might just be the next thing to send them running.
