Sportingbet Proves the Exception to the Rule

So many sporting events in the United States see the online gambling industry as their version of the Big Bad Wolf. However, they say nothing could be further from the truth. They say that they can work in conjunction with each other, and the online gambling industry is taking steps to keep corruption out of the sports betting industry. However, the US sporting teams are doing everything in their power to make sure that online gambling stays illegal.

However, in the United Kingdom they take a slightly different approach to online gambling. They embrace it and work with it so that they can benefit each other. European leagues say that they were aware that people were going to participate in online gambling in sports no matter what they did, so they felt that it was important to work with them to ensure a secure gaming experience for both the bettor and the player.

Now that they have come to an understanding, you are starting to see the intermingling that they are doing as they work with each other instead of against. Sportingbet has just announced that they will be sponsoring the Wolverhampton Wanderers, are one of the top four soccer teams in Britain. They are in the same league as Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal � and are very well known in the soccer industry.

The online gambling site signed a two year deal for seven figures with the team that will allow them to give the team the money they need to progress, and it will allow the company to put their logo on their uniforms and advertise in their home stadium. The US sporting teams could take a note from their example as it shows that online gambling and sports can work together in peace.
