we are happy to report that the riverboat that was shut down last Sunday is back in business. Yesterday, the Harrah's Metropolis Casino opened it's door back up for gambling as usual. The riverboat was actually opened in the early evening hours, in time to get things back underway. The Metropolis has long been a popular spot for gambling, being in business for over twelve years.
After the 3 day closing due to shallow water levels - causing poor walking conditions, player filed right back in. The closure of the gambling boat docked on the Ohio River has estimated that some $1 million or so in revenue has been lost since closure.
