We all love a free trip. Many online gambling casinos and free game sites have been known to give them away to their players too. Two players from Kiwi Skill have just won trips to Hollywood to play in a final event they qualified to play at the online gambling site and its free game area.
The first qualifier we will report about is Named Kelli. She is from Pennsylvania. When she found out she was one of the winners, she stated that she is a great poker player, but she will worry about cracking under pressure when she goes face to face with her opponent.
Kelli’s opponent is an online gambling fan from British Columbia. His name is Derek and he is looking forward to flying to Los Angeles to play against Kelli in the online gambling site’s $1 million grand prize poker tourney and champion title as World's Best Casual Gamer.
This event is just one of the many events taking place at the inaugural WorldWide Web Games. Both players will play against each other at Renaissance Hotel in Hollywood on September 9, 2006, along with many other online gaming players from various other skill game sites.
At the event in California, seventy five poker players will be playing the best poker they can to win the main event. One million dollars is a great motivator. All of these online gaming players have made it to the event by getting the best score in their particular poker tournament bracket in any one of three of the most popular casual games. These games are Bejeweled 2, Solitaire and Zuma. The actual event is going to be hosted by a company affiliated with FUN Technologies. It is also being filmed for TV and will be viewed on the Game Show Network later in 2006.
Kiwi Skill is obviously proud that 2 of its players won trips to the finals in the World Wide Web games. Because this type of online gaming has become so popular so fast, players from all over the world get to play against each other no for a whopping one million bucks.
Like online gambling, the casual games industry becoming a new force to be reckon with for sure. Skill games such as poker are so popular on the Internet these days largely due to online gambling. Even thought the players who qualified for this event were not necessarily gambling online, they were playing skill games and they are good at it. Now they get a free trip to these web games events to play poker against each other.
Kiwi Skill in particular provides its online players with more than seventy skill games to choose from. Players can play against each other in real time online events and always have a blast doing so. One great thing about this is that new players get $6 free to try it all out.
