Even though online gambling fans are noticing that there are more
sports
stars
playing
at
poker
events
now
more
than
ever,
some
of
them
still burn
and
crash
quickly.
There
are
many
worthy
poker
players
out
there
that
are
celebrities,
they
belong
to
ball
leagues
and
other
sports
such
as
boxing
and
more.
One
worthy
player,
heavyweight
boxing
champion
Lennox
Lewis
only
managed
to
stay
in
the
game
one
day.
Was he in the event for kicks, just to do it or is he a good poker
player
that
just
had
a
bad
day
at
the
table?
Whatever
the
case,
he
was
playing
on
the
first
day
of
the
2006
World
Series
of
Poker
event
in
Las
Vegas,
Nevada
this
week.
The
cost
is
ten
thousand
dollars
for
each
player’s
buy
in.
Even
though
Lewis
was
said
to
have
had
a
good
time
playing,
he
was
eliminated
on
the
very
first
day.
He
was
certainly
not
the
only
poker
player
among
the
approximate
nine
thousand
players
to
be
out
in
just
one
day.
While it is true that this year’s event is bigger and better than
ever,
the
player
pool
is
made
up
of
players
from
all
walks
of
life.
Many
are
from
online
casinos,
some
of
them
won
their
seats
free
at
online
gambling
poker
rooms,
some
are
the
biggest
fish,
some
are
celebrities
and
some
are
plain
beginners.
As
long
as
you
have
the
buy
in
fee
you
can
play
in
this
event.
That
is
what
makes
it
the
best
event
each
year.
Anyone
can
win.
Lewis was a long shot, he obviously knew it, but like him, many
celebrity
poker
hackers
can
stay
away
from
this
event’s
major
trill.
He
has
said
that
one
of
the
things
he
likes
about
poker
is
the
uncertainty
of
it –
noyt
knowing
what
the
cards
have
in
store.
AT least he can still play at online casinos and other online gambling
sites
still.
We
will
continue
to
let
you
know
how
the
WSOP
is
winding
down
each
day.
Stay
tuned.
Lennox Lewis paid a surprise visit at the Doyle's Room hospitality
suite
at
this
years
WSOP.
