After
6
qualifiers
for
PartyPoker.net’s
Big
Throwdown
event,
online
gambling
fans
are
learning
that
snowboarder
Danny
Kass
was
the
winner.
The
event
hosted
6
different
sports
stars
from
6
different
sporting
genres
and
the
action
was
non-stop.
The
first
ever
event
hosted
not
only
snowboarder
Kass,
but
it
had
5
other
great
players
involved
as
well.
Surfer
Pat
O’Connell
played
in
the
poker
event
as
well
as
skateboarder
Sergie
Ventura,
BMX
rider
Dennis
McCoy,
wake
boarder
Josh
Sanders
and
FMX
star
Jeff
Tilton.
By
winning
the
event,
Kass
won
a
$30,000
prize.
The
event
was
hosted
at
the
Rio
in
Vegas.
The
very
first
player
at
the
final
qualifying
table
of 6
to
have
to
go
was
O’Connell.
He
lasted
just
over
an
hour
and
was
gone
after
that.
McCoy,
and
Ventura
were
the
next
to
be
eliminated
ands
the
last
3
players
were
Kass,
Sander,
and
Tilton.
Sanders
left
in 3rd
place
and
Tilton
was
left
at
-the
table
to
go
up
against
Kass
with
a
small
chip
lead
even.
The
two
played
well
but
as
you
know,
Kass
prevailed.
Kass
had
a
calm
sense
about
him
and
was
able
to
play
throughout
the
tourney
with
a
level-headed
game
play.
Although
Tilton
played
well,
giving
Kass
a
run
for
his
money,
he
couldn’t
go
all
the
way
to
the
win.
In
the
end,
Tilton
pushed
all
of
his
remaining
chips
to
the
center
of
the
table
to
go
all
in.
Kass
called
him
and
that
was
that.
Now
if
you
are
interested
in
the
6
qualifying
rounds
and
want
to
see
the
detailed
action
of
these
sports
pros,
much
of
it
will
be
featured
on
short
length
programming
on
Fusion
TV’s
Outdoor
Life
Network.
Each
twelve
minute
length
showing
will
feature
one
of
the
qualifiers
and
its
highlights.
You
will
be
able
to
catch
all
the
hottest
plays
from
each
of
the
events
in a
condensed
version.
The
actual
main
event
will
be
an
hour-long
program
that
PartyPoker.net
will
also
feature
on
Fusion
TV.
Be
sure
to
check
your
local
listings
on
your
cable
guide
to
the
schedules.
We
do
know
that
the
final
table
event
will
air
on
October
21st
at
2Pm
EST
on
the
Outdoor
Life

We
will
be
looking
to
see
the
action
ourselves.
Theses
days,
you
can
find
some
sort
of
gambling
program
or
poker
event
on
TV
at
any
given
time,
but
this
one
will
surely
feature
some
fun
scenes
as
well
as
great
player
action.
