You
Have
to
Fight
for
Your
Right
to
Gamble
August 23, 2007
In
this
day
and
age,
it
is
more
important
than
ever
for
the
average
citizen
to
stand
up
and
have
their
voice
heard.
Our
government
is
taking
away
rights
that
they
have
no
business
taking,
and
no
one
is
standing
up
to
them
except
for
the
individual.
Case
in
point
–
online
gambling
–
why
is
it
illegal
and
who
told
them
we
wanted
it
illegal?
The
government
passed
the
UIGEA
under
cover
and
ever
since
Americans
have
been
forced
to
pay.
But
the
worst
part
is
that
we
are
basically
on
our
own
to
do
so,
as
the
big
businesses
and
companies
are
not
helping
anyone
fight
the
online
gambling
laws.
In
fact,
the
larger
companies
have
turned
on
each
other
in
an
effort
to
curry
favor
with
our
government,
trying
to
keep
themselves
from
coming
under
fire.
BetonSports
is
based
outside
the
US,
as
is
NETeller.
However,
both
companies
allowed
U.S.
citizens
to
use
their
services,
and
therefore
our
government
went
after
them.
This
was
a
perfect
example
for
the
companies
to
fight
the
UIGEA
and
win
one
for
the
little
guy.
However,
in
trying
to
save
their
skins,
they
turned
on
their
founders
who
are
all
still
facing
charges.
The
only
people
fighting
the
government
and
the
UIGEA
are
individuals
and
small
companies
that
can
not
really
afford
to
pay.
People
like
Lee
Rousso
who
is
suing
the
state
of
Washington
for
what
he
feels
are
laws
that
directly
defy
the
state
constitution,
as
well
as
the
federal
one.
Rousso
will
continue
to
fight,
as
we
all
should
– if
we
ever
want
to
see
online
gambling
again.
