NETeller
Resolution
at
Last
August
21,
2007
Those
that
have
been
waiting
patiently
for
some
kind
of
decision
on
the
NETeller
case
will
get
what
they
have
wanted.
The
United
States
Attorney’s
office
in
Manhattan
has
finally
reached
a
deal
with
NETeller
and
consumers
will
soon
be
able
to
get
their
online
gambling
money
back
from
the
company.
Hundreds
of
thousands
of
online
gamblers
have
been
waiting
for
months
to
get
their
funds
back
from
the
government
and
from
NETeller
–
with
the
company
trying
to
return
them
only
being
unable
to.
The
government
had
seized
and
frozen
all
of
the
accounts,
so
NETeller
had
been
working
to
find
a
solution
that
would
help
their
clients.
With
their
online
gambling
clients
finally
able
to
get
a
hold
of
their
money,
there
has
been
a
run
on
the
company
–
with
more
than
$70
million
already
withdrawn.
The
case
has
been
played
out
in
the
media
for
months,
with
the
government
requesting
delay
after
delay,
and
then
finally
the
online
gambling
clients
saying
that
they
were
going
to
seek
legal
action
to
get
their
funds.
It
seems
that
they
will
no
longer
have
to
do
that,
but
waiting
for
a
resolution
in
this
case
has
been
extreme
to
say
the
least.
More
than
250,000
online
gambling
accounts
have
been
frozen
since
January,
when
the
company’s
founders
were
arrested
by
the
government.
The
company
still
does
business
in
countries
where
it
is
legal,
and
they
are
also
considering
coming
back
into
the
US
only
in a
non
online
gambling
capacity.
