Seneca
Casino
Does
Not
Disappoint
August 6, 2007
The
Seneca
poker
room
in
Niagara
is
well
worth
the
trip
should
you
ever
desire
to
go.
One
of
three,
the
poker
room
is
huge,
and
probably
a
bit
understated
in
its
decorations,
but
still
one
of
the
nicest
casinos
yet.
The
one
in
Niagara
is
the
largest
of
the
three,
with
the
other
two
being
in
Salamanca,
NY
and
Irving,
NY.
The
casino
is
located
in
what
used
to
be
the
Niagara
Falls
Convention
Center,
and
it
looks
just
like
a
Las
Vegas
casino
now.
The
poker
room
has
24
tables,
and
they
use
a
sturdier
card
than
most
casinos
do.
On
any
day
you
can
enter
the
no-limit
Hold’em
tournament,
it
runs
at
10
am
each
and
every
day
for
those
die
hards
who
just
have
to
get
a
tournament
in
before
they
start
their
day.
Sometimes
they
offer
a
stud
game
as
well,
but
interest
is
not
usually
very
big
for
it,
so
they
only
offer
it
if
enough
people
sign
up
for
them.
They
have
a
second
tournament
each
day
at 7
pm
for
those
that
had
to
earn
their
gambling
money,
and
on
Sunday’s
they
have
a
“deep
stack”
tournament
going
on.
This
kind
of
game
everyone
starts
with
4,000
in
chips
and
every
20
minutes
they
raise
the
blinds.
A
couple
of
times
a
year
they
offer
large
tournaments
with
a
buy
in
of
$500
or
more.
However,
they
don’t
offer
them
all
the
time
so
you
should
check
with
management
to
see
what
is
offered
the
day
you
are
coming.
Most
of
the
people
who
go
to
the
casino
are
locals,
and
most
of
them
play
accordingly.
