Once upon a time there was a sports betting service by the name of Skybook that was a great place to participate in online gambling. The online gambling company is now gone having closed their doors this past week, thus putting an end to the fairy tale.
Some say that it was the best sports book in the land – but others say that there was a deeper, seedier side to the online gambling site which is what eventually destroyed them. The original sports book went by the name of RIO and they did well for themselves. Then they purchased another online gambling site by the name of Skybook.
Skybook then merged into Rio because of litigation that Rio – the casino in Las Vegas – had brought against them. So now you had Skybook and all was right with the world once again. If you wanted to participate in online gambling in the sports arena you simply went to their site and had a great time.
But then things started going downhill with the online gambling site. Some say it started when RioDave left the online gambling site and was replaced with Marty and Rod. Dave was a powerhouse in the online gambling arena – and the company had the full support of its clients while he was at the helm. But as soon as he left this all changed.
The company steadily fell from grace from there on out – and the next thing you know they are closing their doors and leaving both employees and players without the money that was due them. For an online gambling company that had worked so hard and meant so much – it was a disappointing and bitter end.
