The patents were owned by ENPAT Inc. and they share a likeness to the electronic tracking of table games. Shuffle Master's purchase clears the way for the gaming company to continue to license the technology to slot maker Mikohn Gaming Corp. and even Gaming Partners International Corp. Gaming Partners is a company that produces electronically enhanced playing chips and readers for table games.
