Station
Casinos board
member quits

Blake Sartini, has
given-up his position on
the Station Casinos Inc.
board of directors in
order to spend more of
his time to his other
business interests. He
owns a local pub in the
area. The filing was
made with the Securities
and Exchange Commission.
Blake Sartini, who was
also a Station Casinos
executive. He is also
the brother-in-law of
both the chief
executive, Frank
Fertitta III, and
President Lorenzo
Fertitta. Sartini has
served on the Station's
board since May 1993. It
is now being reported
that Sartini left
Station to create Golden
Gaming Inc. Golden is a
private company that
bought the local PT's
pub chain in back in
2002.
At
press time, Sartini has
not released any
comment. Additionally,
representatives from
Station Casinos also
have no comment. It is
not speculated who might
replace Sartini either.
Sartini's Golden Gaming
is in the process of
expanding its PT's pubs
chain in the Las Vegas
Valley. The company is
also creating another
pub chain in Northern
Nevada. The new
locations are said to
include upscale pubs by
the name of PT's Gold in
Las Vegas and the name
Sierra Gold in Northern
Nevada.
