In the UK, the BBC is reporting that online casinos promotion company,
Empire Online, has filed suit and begun legal action against one of it former collaborators. The online casinos company is effectively suing online casino company Partygaming in Gibraltar High Court.
The new development comes after a move made by online casino company Partygaming's decision to separate its online poker system from that of its skin sites.
Empire is, as it were, a skin site.
Empire directed users to online casino poker operators, such as to Partygaming's Party Poker site, and were paid commission for doing so.
Since floating in June of this year, Empire has lost more than 50% of its market value.
The online casino company Empire is looking to be compensated substantial damages and injunctive relief from Partygaming.
Legal filing took place yesterday. We will follow this interesting issue as it is of great interest to the online casinos community.
