He is known for taking his customers� money and leaving them in the lurch and disappearing. His most well known scam involved Lucky�s Casino. Pearson set up the online casino in the late �90�s and then shut it down. When he left he owed hundreds of thousands of dollars to his customers, and didn�t pay them a dime back. Well, Pearson has finally met his match. According to law officials acting on a US warrant, Pearson was captured Tuesday by Costa Rican authorities. Pearson is a Florida resident, but has been hiding out in Costa Rica. He has been arrested on multiple counts of fraud, and is suspected of being one of nine members of a group that defrauded US residents of nearly $13 million. Pearson and his group allegedly offered various products for sale, none of which involved online gambling. It is suspected that he has not been a part of the online gambling industry for many years. However, he is facing 450 separate cases of fraud for his other endeavors. His online gambling career illustrious enough, he is facing charges for defrauding clients when he misrepresented the amount of money one could earn from a coffee franchise he was hawking. He had clients purchase sale racks, which were delivered, but they did not have the ability to make the kind of money he was promising them.
