Experts Getting Ready for
Online Gambling Hearings

The
online gambling industry is fully in its element
right now. They are lining up expert after
expert to testify on behalf of the online
gambling industry, and they feel that once all
the evidence is seen that there is no way that
online gambling won’t be legalized. They say
that when they see the show of support that the
industry has, they will have to overturn the
Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act or
UIGEA.
The online gambling industry has been waiting
for this moment for three years and they are
going to make sure that they have their ducks in
a row. They have experts from within the online
gambling community as well as outside of it.
They have tapped various industries to testify
why online gambling should be legalized –
showing that the industry has no boundaries.
There are of course the various experts that
talk about how unsafe the internet is now and
how there can be controls put into place to make
it safer. There are several online gambling
control groups that say that they have seen what
it is like now and they understand the steps
that need to be taken to take it to the next
level of security for US citizens.
There were those from the financial industry
that were ready to testify as to how impossible
it is for them to have to regulate online
gambling. They say that they are banks and they
don’t really have the ability to keep people
from participating in online gambling, and if
there is to be action taken against them then it
should be done by the police or the government
and not them.
