Australia’s
Casino
Action
Group
Awaits
Reinstatement
February
29,
2008
When
news
of
the
eCommerce
and
Online
Gaming
Regulation
and
Assurance
announcement
hit
the
waves
there
was
wide
spread
panic
among
the
players
of
one
of
the
most
popular
online
gambling
sites
out
there
today.
eCOGRA
had
announced
that
they
were
suspending
the
accreditation
of
Australia’s
Casino
Action
Group,
and
many
were
at a
loss
as
to
why.
Casino
Action
was
not
surprised
however,
and
was
quick
to
respond
to
the
questions
that
their
clients
had.
They
said
that
they
are
expecting
reinstatement
of
their
accreditation
soon,
and
that
there
was
no
reason
for
any
of
their
clients
to
worry.
They
said
that
there
were
some
“administrative
issues
that
will
be
resolved
shortly.”
They
said
that
they
initially
waited
to
say
anything
as
they
thought
that
the
reinstatement
would
literally
happen
within
24
hours,
but
as
it
had
not
yet
they
felt
the
need
to
speak
out.
They
said
that
things
of
this
nature
can
take
longer
than
expected,
but
they
are
confident
that
they
will
be
gaining
their
accreditation
back.
They
wanted
to
be
clear
that
their
“honesty,
integrity
[and]
customer
service
[had
not]
been
questioned
and
[their]
reputation
speaks
for
itself.”
They
said
that
they
are
carrying
on
as
usual
and
when
they
are
reinstated
they
will
make
an
announcement
letting
everyone
know.
eCOGRA
does
not
release
details
on
suspensions,
and
in
the
case
of
Casino
Action
they
are
simply
leaving
it
that
investigations
are
ongoing
by
its
Compliance
Team.
