Can Ron Paul Win?

February 15, 2008

One of the biggest things to come out of this election will undoubtedly be the fervor of the grassroots coalition to get Ron Paul elected as the next President of the United States of America. His supporters are tried and true, and many feel that it has to do with his strong stance on legalizing online gambling.

Everywhere you look you see hand made signs telling you to vote for Ron Paul, a man who has both sides wondering where he came from. A man who says he is going to shake up education and taxes and legalize online gambling can’t be all bad right?

He may be running on a Republican ticket, but many say that is only because an Independent never wins the White House. Both Republicans and Democrats alike are taking a second look at this man, and his supporters say that he will accomplish every thing that he claims he is going to, and at the same time he will change the way we look at politics in this country.

They might be right. There was an article about how Paul looks like he might win Washington State – a Democratic state of all things. However, he would mostly be fighting McCain who will probably take it as a no brainer that it is an un-winnable state. However, Paul might not accept that especially since early reports say that he is doing well there.

But if McCain’s group does decide to blow of the state or take it as an easy win, they would be backing the wrong horse. If they choose not to vote, which many of them might, Paul will take the state which could lead to a battle for the nomination. Online gambling enthusiasts are hoping that he wins.
