Online Gambling Ads Doing Well

Offering free online gaming is the best thing that the online gambling sites could do for themselves. They know that in this economy there are those that would love to be able to play at the online casinos but just don�t have the money to do so. However, they know that if they offer free online gambling for amusement to their clients that they will remember this and come back to them when it is time to spend some money.

But increasing their cash flow from online gamblers returning is not the only benefit from the free offer. They have also started to see another great trend in that their ad revenues have increased as well. The online gambling industry has found that while other online ad revenues have actually dropped, display advertising for online gambling has spiked 29% in November over the previous year.

ComScore says that the increase in ad sales is directly related to the fact that they are now offering free gaming which is driving traffic to their sites. Overall internet traffic grew 4% in November, but visitors to online gambling sites grew 27% in December. They also found that not only do the online gambling sites have more traffic; they are also spending more time there when they get there.

ComScore says that �online, ad-supported gaming is one of the activities that has benefited� from the way that the economy has been faring as of late. They say that consumers are looking for ways of escaping reality and online gambling is one of those ways of doing that.
