You Can Bet on Pretty Much Everything at the Super
Bowl
February

There is nothing off limits
to the online gambling community – and the Super Bowl is the best
example of that. You can bet on everything from who will win the coin
toss to how many celebrities you will see there watching. There are bets
for how many times Pete Townshend will do his windmill move during the
half time show, and there are bets on the type of things that the
announcers will talk about.
The online gambling industry is not just about who wins and who loses
anymore, nor is it about the point spread above and below – instead you
can go down the list and see what the online gambling community is
really betting on. Billions of dollars in online gambling revenue will
be made – and much of it won’t have anything to do with the game itself.
You can see bets on the commercials – which is the best, etc.; which CBS
show will get the most promos – and how many times the announcers will
mention Hurricane Katrina. There are also bets on how many times you
will see the celebrities in attendance, and how many times the
announcers will make a mistake. There are also those that are betting on
how the stock market will do the day after the Super Bowl and who will
win the Super Bowl MVP award. They are also betting on who they will
thank first with God being the favorite at 4/5 odds.
There will be bets on how long the National Anthem will last – and who
the first sideline reporter on TV. It is an amazing thing to think that
out of one game billions of dollars will be flowing through these online
gambling sites – and that they aren’t even regulated yet. What is online
gambling for the Super Bowl going to look like when it is?
