Online Gambling is Not Dead

There are those people out
there that think that if they just wait long enough that all of the
online casinos, and online sports books, and anything that has to do
with online gambling will have gone away. But they keep forgetting the
fact that people who live in the United States like their online
gambling enough to break the law and keep participating in it.
Not only that but a recent report showed that the majority of the
billions of dollars in online gambling revenue that came in last year
came from the US. More than half of the world’s online gambling revenue
is still coming from the US – more than what used to come in before they
tried to ban it.
Then there is the fact that this Super Bowl raised almost more money
than the largest Super Bowl in history. Only the 2006 Super Bowl saw
bets in larger amounts – and this is truly a testament in this economy
that people are still looking to participate in gambling.
All you have to do is look at the numbers and see how much money is
being made by the online gambling industry, and with this in mind –
realize how much money could be made if it was legalized. They are just
starting to realize that the online gambling industry is much bigger and
stronger than they had given it credit for and that it is not going away
any time soon.
All of the online gambling sites said that they did well in the Super
Bowl, and so did the land based casinos. Just goes to show you –
gambling is not dead – not by far.
