The online gambling world
consistently has to worry about the number of people that are trying to
hack into their sites on a daily basis. They know that their biggest
problem is keeping online gambling patrons safe when there are so many
people out there that would like to change that for them. They are
constantly seeking out new ways that they might be able to increase the
security that they offer on their sites – and those companies that are
in the security business are quite often in high demand.
With this in mind, the Portland, Oregon based internet security company
Iovation is pleased to offer some heartening results. At the ICEi show
this week the company reported that they were able to block at least
30,000 fraud attempts a day. This goes across all of their client sites
so that everyone who is covered by them is getting this benefit. They
said that since they have started this program that they have run more
than 2.7 billion regulation checks on the online gambling sites that
they represent, and that the number that they stopped this year was more
than double the amount that they stopped last year.
The online casino security firm is simply an example of the fraud
protection and detection strategies that are necessary across the board
to try and keep the online gambling legal and safe for their players.
The online gambling industry is not the only one to use this sort of
security software, but it will assuredly be one of the best out there.
It would be interesting to see how many other companies can boast a rate
that high on a daily basis.
