It is no secret that there
is a large contingency in the United States that is looking to make
online gambling legal again. They want to see the Unlawful Internet
Gambling Enforcement Act or UIGEA repealed and they think that they
stand a real chance of that happening. Although the new bill seems to be
mired down in committee hearings, each of these things are necessary in
order for online gambling to be legal again. Online gambling supporters
know that they have Rep. Barney Frank in their corner pushing away to
see it happen.
So what does the online gambling industry do while they are waiting to
see if they will be able to be legalized and regulated? They work at
improving their industry. They know that at some point online gambling
is going to be legal, and they want to be ready for them with the best
possible offerings out there. They want to make sure that their online
gambling sites are up to any possible code that might be issued, and
they want to be sure that they can compete in an ever changing market.
So they look to their online gambling software providers to see what
they can come up with and in some cases – like Playtech – they are
rewarded for their persistence. Playtech is easily one of the biggest
online gambling providers out there today – and they have made a huge
name for themselves in the process. But now they are taking online
gambling a step further with their innovations in mobile gaming.
The online gambling company has just announced that they have a new
software called Mobile Web Apps which is going to enable their high end
mobile users to bring online gambling to their cell phones and other
mobile devices. They will have their pick of Texas Hold ‘em, Blackjack,
craps or video poker in the palm of their hand.
