Online Gambling Ready for NCAA

February
15, 2010

The online gambling world loves nothing more than a major sporting event to being in business. The players in their industry like to bet on pretty much everything out there, and we have commented before on how there is literally nothing that is off limits for the online gambling industry. But with an event as large as this, there is no doubt that the bets would be coming in.

Following right on the heels of the Super Bowl is the National College Athletics Association’s March Madness Tournament. Most people seem to think that Kansas is the shoe in to win the NCAA tournament, and they are holding at 9-5 odds. But even at that, and it is not a bad price, there are some who will not want to take that action. Some online gambling patrons will be looking to get a better odds placement on their team.

Some seem to think that Wake Forest could be a better bet coming in at 100-1 – as it has already won their last two games in a row. Villanova also looks very good at 12-1, especially since they have a real chance at taking the number one spot. The online gambling boards lit up at their last win, and it is expected that there will be more to follow.

Wisconsin is another one that the online gambling patrons like – they are sitting at 75-1 and at the very least they should end up coming in third. New Mexico is a good one too, if you are truly a betting person. They are sitting at 200-1 and are not going to take a top spot, but they are looking good for a 4th or 5th place finish.
