to MasterCard and Visa

There are many within the
online gambling community that are plenty mad about recent claims from
the credit card companies MasterCard and Visa that they were allowing
people to use their cards illegally. The credit card companies say that
this is simply not true and that they are really upset by claims that
they have tampered with the coding on their transactions simply so that
their clients can use them for online gambling.
The online gambling site Poker Stars is easily one of the largest poker
sites in the world, and they reacted quickly to the accusations that
they, and others, were falsely coding their online gambling
transactions. They said that they do not recode their credit card
transactions now, nor have they ever. They said that they have plenty of
legitimate payment channels available to their customers from the United
States and that they are upset that they would be accused of such a
thing.
They said that the credit card companies’ supposed “crackdown” on those
online gambling sites that are doing that does not affect them because
they have not been breaking the law. They said that they use the proper
online gambling code of 7995 and if it is approved then it is, and if it
isn’t then that is the way it is.
Experts say that there are many within the online gambling community
that was just as upset. They said that if the bank approves an online
gambling transaction that it shouldn’t have, that is their error – not
the online casino’s. They are not changing any coding and are insulted
that it is being insinuated.
