Report Released on Online Gambling
February

The Remote Gambling
Association, or RGA, is well known within the online gambling community,
but not as much outside of it. The group is “dedicated to maintaining
open communication between all those involved in the online gambling
industry.” Their goal is to ensure that online gambling is safe and free
from corruption, and they work hard to fulfill those duties.
But with so many people complaining lately about corruption in the
online gambling industry and the sports booking arena, the RGA had to
step forward to ensure that things were being handled efficiently and
correctly or they know that it would possibly ruin the reputation of the
online gambling community. They have responded to the allegations from
some online gambling players who say that it is impossible to win at the
online casinos. They are also dealing with the fact that there were
several operators caught match-fixing – which definitely did not help
their cause.
What they found is that corruption is blown way out of proportion and
that there are not nearly as many issues with online gambling as people
seemed to want there to be. They said that sometimes the betting
operators cannot pay out on bets because they have not made enough money
to do so – and that it would be unfair for their players to ask them to.
They said that they felt that there should be more input in the
government from the online gambling industry – and that to treat them as
a separate entity, leaving them to wait for the decision instead of
bringing them in on the process, is simply wrong. They said that the
politicians needed to look at the online gambling operators and talk to
them about what was needed in order to get a clear picture of the
situation.
