Expansion of eCOGRA

The eCommerce and Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance, or eCOGRA has long been considered a trusted name in the online gambling community. They give their backing only to those online gambling sites that have truly earned it, so if you are playing on one of their recommended sites you know that they have your back should anything go wrong.

Well, now the online gambling group has announced that they are going through a fairly significant expansion. They are considering adding more than 100 online casino and poker rooms to the groups that they cover. They are going to extend their assurance to bingo, sportsbetting, and live gambling operations � which seems as though it may be the wave of the future.

The online gambling watchdog will now offer testing, standards and monitoring services to all of the major players in the online gambling industry. They already handle online casinos and poker sites as well as mobile gambling, so what is really left? The company says that they want to be able to offer their Safe and Fair eCOGRA symbol to many other elements of gambling instead of the obvious.

They already offer it to more than 126 tier one online casinos and poker rooms, and the expansion will be good for them. They have been working at building themselves up over the past six years and this feels like a natural progression for them. They are dedicated to protecting those that participate in online gambling and will do so no matter what.
