It has long been assumed that many people participate in online gambling as compared to live gambling because it is more convenient. However, recent studies that have been undertaken suggest that there is actually more to the online gambling fascination and that convenience is just one of many reasons that people participate. Land based casinos have been feeling the hit from the recession in their revenues, and have known for some time that the online gambling world was taking much of their business as well.

However, those that are not aware of the other reasons will be surprised to know that online gambling is taking the casinos� money for more reasons than just one. The main reason � online gambling sites offer free money. There are a lot of people who play at the online gambling sites because they offer big promotions which equal free money � something land based casinos only seem to do when you are bringing in a lot of money.

They also participate in online gambling because they don�t have to worry about travel, parking, entry, food, or beverage costs and all of their money can go straight to their gambling. With land based casinos they have all of these other expenses which means they don�t have as much to gamble with.

They also like the fact that they can wear whatever they want. They like the fact that they can play in the privacy of their own home, and that they only have to interact with people online if they want to. Otherwise they can keep to themselves. They like that there is no dressing up, they can wear as much or as little as they want, and no one can say a thing.

They say that the graphics and such that are offered are the same as at the online gambling sites, so that doesn�t make much of a difference to them either. No matter how you look at it, online gambling sires are bringing in more money because of a whole slew of reasons, not just the fact that you can do it in your living room.
