It would seem that the world of online gambling is losing a cherished member � or at least the men of the world will think so. In what was a shocking announcement, Playboy Gaming.com has announced that they are going to be shutting down their operations. The Cryptologic powered online gambling site has been in business for less than two years, and many thought that it was doing well.

The company has not made an official statement yet, but people within the company itself are confirming that yes the online gambling site will be closed down. Cryptologic has also confirmed that the online casino is closing. The online gambling site is not yet announcing anything on their site, but one can be assured that it is coming.

The online gambling site has only been around since April of 2007, and opened at the same time as PlayboyCasino.com and PlayboyPoker.com. All three online gambling sites were licensed in Malta under a group called Oceania P-Club Ltd. and Oceania Clubhouse Ltd. They were trading as Playboy Gaming.

The online gambling site�s customer service representatives say that their last day will be January 29th of this year, cutting it about two months shy of their two year anniversary. The online casino says that they will no longer be running the online gambling site under Cryptologic and will be moving to another network.

No official statement has been made by either online gambling company, but some think that it has a lot to do with the UIGEA. They say that Cryptologic�s handling and exit from the US market had to hurt the online casino�s numbers and perhaps that is why they were leaving.
