NFL and Online Gambling

The National Football
League has made it no secret that they have a problem with allowing
online gambling to be legal. They have said numerous times that they
feel that online gambling corrupts the sport and only encourages illegal
activity within the game. They have said that they think that online
gambling will have players throwing games to keep them from winning or
losing a bet, and that the game will be deeply influenced by whether or
not someone has a bet on it.
They have hired people to be their full time advocates for keeping
online gambling illegal, and they feel that they are winning the battle.
They say that they have already managed to make online gambling illegal
through their support of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement
Act or UIGEA, and they continue to support all attempts to keep online
gambling illegal.
However, someone might have wanted to tell the online gambling site that
they were not supposed to be getting involved in sports betting.
Gambling at the online casinos is at an all time high for sports fans
and they say that it adds another level to the game that it didn’t have
before. They say that by betting on an online gambling site they are
enjoying the game even more than they did before – especially when they
know that they have something riding on it.
With the Super Bowl just around the corner, the number of hits on the
online gambling sites will increase as more people get involved in what
is easily the biggest game of the season. The one thing that the NFL is
not taking into consideration is the fact that they are getting more
viewers by having people use online gambling. People like being involved
in it on more than one level, and it only serves to benefit them.
