14, 2010
The Rank Group Plc is the
owner and operator of Mecca Bingo Clubs. They are pleased to announce
that they had an exceptional year and that as the year went on they saw
rapid growth in their company. The online gambling company said that
their Grosvenor Casinos, as well as with their online gambling and bingo
sites showed that their adjusted earnings had gone up for the year.
The online gambling company said that they had exceeded what they had
predicted they would accomplish last year, and could not be happier
about it. This means that their adjusted earnings per share for last
year will exceed the upper end of all of the analyst projections, which
were estimating them at 6.8 pence per share to 8.1 pence per share.
Instead they company saw 89.7 pence per share and a rise of 4.2%. Their
shares have gained 8.4% just this week, which means they are worth $562
million as of the writing of this article. The company said that to go
up as much as they did simply shows that they are doing something right,
and that their employees are hard at work to maintain a better way of
gambling for their patrons.
They said that their online gambling operations had brought in more
bingo, casino and poker than they had before. They are also focusing
more on their female customers right now in an attempt to bring more of
them in. They are using their “G Casino” brand conversions to accomplish
that. They said that the increase for the online gambling company could
also be due to lower utility rates, stable employment expenses and lower
financing costs.
