Poker World Series of Poker down to last table

Here we go. All you online gambling fans out there are eager for news on this year's World Series of Poker. What a day yesterday. After a very long day that went late into the night, the poker game wound down to the last 9 players that will fill the table today.

This year's event has drawn great attention to the burgeoning online gambling generation, too. Top players and unknowns players are ending up at the last table this year, making for great poker excitement. The last 9 people left are going to battle it out today for the grand prize $7.5 million.

Yesterday, 18 of the 27 players who began the day were eradicated. Get this, Greg Fossilman Raymer, who won the event last year, Phil Ivey and Tiffany Williamson all busted out. Williamson's lost quashed any hopes of a female winner this year. 

This was a long day, after almost 12 hours of hard-core poker playing, these are the luck 9 remaining poker players:

Aaron Kanter is in 1st place. He has a staggering $10.7 million in chips.

Tex Barch is in second with $9.3 million in front of him.

Andrew Black is in 3rd place. He has a stellar $8.1 million in his stack.

Mike Matusow, AKA The Mouth is in 4th place with $7.4 million.

Both Steven Dannenmann and Joseph Hachem have $5.4 million in front of them.

Daniel Bergsdorf  has $5.2 million.

Scott Lazar holds $3.3 million in chips.

Brad Kondracki even has $1.1 million.

At this point, all 9 players will walk away with at least a cool million. Today's final brawl at the felt will end sometime this afternoon.
