Online Gambling Players Try it All
July 15, 2009
A recent report has shown that although online gambling players play the same games for the most part that they play in the live casinos, they are also more willing to try other games as well. Normally when a poker player goes into a casino they go to the poker tables. But when a poker player goes to online gambling, they might play poker or they might try something else.
The report has found that those that are interested in online gambling are also interested in trying various other games. They say that more than 42% of poker players alone are trying these other real money games when they go to the online casinos. They say that they found this as well last year, but on a lesser scale.
It is about a 20% increase over last years’ numbers, showing that the numbers have just about doubled. The majority of this online gambling growth though has come from international casinos – as they have found that most poker players are trying their luck at casinos overseas. They say that France, Germany and Scandinavia are showing the largest amount of increase in growth in crossover online gambling.
They say that most poker players have been trying their hand at sports betting, with 28% of them trying that venue, while others are trying anything from slot machines to baccarat. They say that for some reason they feel that online gambling is a better way to try these games; the anonymity of it has a strong draw for them.
