It would seem that with summer upon us that the online gambling industry just doesn’t have what the live casino industry does – a place to go. With families and singles across the world looking for a place to take their summer vacation, the online gambling industry is left at a loss because they don’t have the same things to offer.
 
At your land based industry you can go to the casino, you can stay at a hotel, sometimes see a show – it is a whole package. The land based casinos have a destination to offer their clients that the online gambling industry can not compete with. This is a vacation to get away from it all – something you can’t really do when you are sitting in your own living room.
 
But the online gambling industry has something that they don’t – a way to save money. And in this economy this is the vacation that many gamblers are actually looking for. There are those that love the idea of going away to gamble but do not have the ability to do so. They understand that every penny that they spend on accommodations or travel is one less that they will have to spend at the tables or the slot machines.
 
This makes this year all that much more important for the online gambling industry. They have seen a dramatic increase in the number of people choosing them over the land based ones because of the amount of money that they are able to save. Sitting at home in your living room with an online gambling site may not be as popular as Vegas, or as exciting as Atlantic City, but it is much kinder on your pocket book.
