Home Online Gambling Ring Exposed

June 24, 2008

According to authorities, Justin Franciscotty, 36, Ana Franciscotty, 30, and Stephanie Uselton, 25, were running an illegal online gambling ring from their home in west Montgomery County. The online gambling ring had international ties to Costa Rica among others.

Investigators arrested the three on Tuesday after raiding their home and charged them with money laundering. Their home was located in the 7000 block of Durango Creek.

They had been watching the house and investigating the case for about a month before they were positive that there was an illegal online gambling operation running out of the home. They were receiving large amounts of money from Costa Rica through the mail at that address.

When they decided to raid the house they found Justin Franciscotty as he was leaving the house and he had $6,000 cash in his pocket. Inside they found another $10,000 in cash. They gave the information that they got from the raid to federal authorities who will be pressing charges as well.

They say that there are more arrests to come, although Uselton has been released. The Franciscottys remain in the Montgomery County jail with Justins bail set at $50,000 and Anas set at $5,000.
