Gambling on the Olympics

The International Olympic Committee is well aware of the online gambling that has gone on at various sporting events around the world. They know about the major gambling scandal that the National Basketball Association had as well as the one that rocked the Association of Tennis Professionals. They are bound and determined that no such scandal will befall the Olympics.

They want to ensure that no gamblers can fix the events and have hired professionals to help them do just that. They have brought on the team of Early Warning Systems � which is a Swiss company that works with FIFA and handles the security for hundreds of online casinos and betting agencies.

They will be responsible for watching for suspicious and unusual wagering patterns. They are making sure that anyone involved in the Olympics in any capacity has signed a contract agreeing not to participate in or promote any kind of online gambling or gambling of any kind.

Some of the online gambling companies that are out there say that they know what it is like to have to make sure that people aren�t cheating or doing anything illegal on their sites. They say that knowing what they know, the IOC is not doing enough to cover themselves. They say that they seem to be doing the right things, but it still isn�t enough.

The online gambling operators know that they are going to get a large influx of people gambling with the Olympics and are obviously looking forward to it.
