Online Gambling is Fun, Period.

Online gambling has quickly become the fun place to be when it comes to gambling. Many people have discovered how much fun it is to participate in online gambling and how convenient it is, which is why they want to do it. Players know that because of less overhead the online gambling sites pay out better than the others, which makes it even more appealing to players.

On August 18, 1995, the first online gambling site was launched and quickly became a favorite of players everywhere. They offered their players the ability to play 18 different online gambling games, and they gave them access to the National Indian Lottery. Players embraced the idea of being able to play at online gambling, because it was just like the idea of going to a land based casino.

Internet Casinos, Inc. or ICI was the first online gambling site, an the still operate today out of the Turks and Caicos just as they did then. They have never operated out of the US as they wanted to avoid government interference and prosecution. There were two other companies in the 90�s who claimed to be the first � and Intertops did actually launch the first sports book.

The online gambling community grew both in popularity and in size from there, and as online gamblers looked for more ways of getting that thrill the online gambling industry rose to the occasion. It was evident that ICI had stumbled onto a gold mine and other companies could not wait to be a part of it. But what they realized early on is not just that it was a great way to make money, but that people really enjoyed it. They liked the convenience of it being in their living room and they liked the fun of it.
