Sports Betting Being Careful

In an effort to ward off suspicion and trouble surrounding a recent bet on a grass court match in the Netherlands, betting has been suspended pending a hearing on the matter. There was an unusual amount of activity surrounding one player as far as odds and betting goes, so many sites have chosen not to allow betting on the event.

With the Wimbledon Tennis Championships only two weeks away there are concerns of match fixing and other illegal activities going on in regards to the matches. They say that there is no way of knowing whether or not the online gambling is in reference to match fixing, or if it is a coincidence, but the fact of the matter is that there seems to be something suspicious going on.

When it come to online gambling and sporting events, this is not the first time that fears have arisen in regards to a particular event. However, the online gambling world usually responds with a removal of the betting on that event, thus removing the cause of the suspicion.

There will be an inquiry into the online gambling betting and the sporting event, as they want to be sure that there isn�t any kind of illegal activity � but at the same time they want all online gambling to be fair. They know that if they allow online gambling to influence the sporting events that they would be setting a bad precedent, which is why they choose to nip it in the bud.
