More about Casino War

Now that we have already covered the basic of the fun online gambling gem of a game, you are most likely thinking it is almost to simple and would not keep your attention enough. That may not be the best way to think of this game. It can go so many ways; you can lose or win in so many ways. We would think to say slots are more basic than this game even.

This casino game gets more interesting than the basics we just covered…

Going to War

Just as you played this game in the school yard or anywhere else when you were much younger, going to war in the casino is just about the same, but here real money is at hand. Remember when you would get the same card as the person you played against when you were little (a tie), then you went to war. Here is what happens in the casino: You and the dealer have a tie (you both have the same card). You then declare your intentions. Here, you have 2 choices to take into consideration. 1. You can give up or surrender, meaning you do not wish to go to war and take on any further action. If you do surrender, you have to give up half of your original wager to the house or dealer - or 2. You can challenge and go to war. From here there is no turning back (how dramatic). When online gambling, this is when the game gets really hot. When you move forward and decide to challenge and go to war, you cannot accept anything less than a win to get out without losing some cash here. This is where the game gets a bit more complex.

In this case, you add another wager the size of your original in order to challenge further. So, if your original bet was $5, you have to post another $5 bet. The dealer then (or the software if you are online gambling) will switch your bet over to the tie area designated on the table. Then just as you remember from when you were a kid, the dealer burns three cards (the next 3 cards are not used or revealed). Then you are dealt a card. Then the dealer repeats this for his or her hand. They burn 3 cards then deal one to their hand. The highest ranking card or valued card wins. Should the dealer win, they get your total bet (original and the additional you bet to challenge and go to war with). If you should win by have the best card, you get the total amount you wagered (both bets) from the dealer.

What to do what to do – if you tie yet again. This is rare but it happens and this situation gets even hotter when online gambling – you win. That is it you win. When online gambling, check out the casino rules to see if the casino gives a special bonus in this situation (do this before you start playing so no confusion takes place or any dispute should take place). Some casinos do have a bonus fro this situation; most land based casinos do anyway.

What’s more, should more than one player go to war with the dealer, the procedures stay the same as they do for the above explanation – with one small difference. The dealer burns 3 cards and then deals a card to ever online casino player or land based player that is going to war. Then burns 3 cards and deals their card. So, if two players go to war with the dealer at the same time, only 3 cards are burnt before each player get the final card. Otherwise you would burn through a deck too fast.
