Clinton
Wants
to
File
Complaints
May
10,
2008
The
fact
of
the
matter
is
that
online
gambling
should
be
legal.
You
can
ask
the
American
people
and
the
majority
will
tell
you
that
they
think
online
gambling
should
be
legal.
So
where
does
that
leave
us
in
reference
to
the
World
Trade
Organization’s
decision?
It
seems
that
United
States’
Presidential
Candidate
Hillary
Clinton
had
alluded
to
the
fact
that
she
would
support
the
WTO’s
decision
in
regards
to
online
gambling
and
would
legalize
it
even
though
she
has
not
come
out
publicly
and
said
so.
She
did
say
that
if
she
was
in
office
that
her
administration
would
file
complaints
with
the
WTO
if
need
be
so
we
can
only
assume
that
she
would
be
willing
to
follow
their
ruling
as
well.
Clinton
was
on
the
Bill
O’Reilly
show
and
was
talking
about
the
fact
that
nearly
all
of
the
OPEC
members
are
also
members
of
the
WTO.
However,
if
we
are
going
to
the
WTO
to
settle
a
dispute
we
have
to
expect
to
abide
by
their
rulings
if
we
expect
other
countries
to
follow
suit.
However,
with
President
Bush
ignoring
the
ruling
of
the
WTO
we
cannot
currently
expect
them
to
fall
over
backwards
to
assist
us
with
our
problems,
especially
since
we
are
behaving
like
petulant
children
in
regards
to
their
online
gambling
bill.
We
don’t
like
their
answer,
so
we
will
just
ignore
them.
With
Clinton
in
office
however,
we
can
assume
that
she
will
abide
by
their
ruling
and
work
to
regulate
online
gambling,
which
would
put
us
in a
very
different
position
with
the
WTO.
This
is
the
closest
anyone
has
come
to
speaking
publicly
about
online
gambling
in
this
race
since
Ron
Paul
said
he
would
make
it
legal.
